What’s new
There’s plenty new here at GuestHouse - and a few good reasons to plan your next stay.
By the coast, al fresco is calling again. The Terrace Bar at Pearly Cow Brighton and the Rooftop Bar at No. 42 Margate have both reopened their doors,
ready for sea air, something chilled in your glass, and those golden, linger-a-little-longer kind of evenings. The views are as good as ever, always better
with a cocktail (or mocktail!) in hand.
In Bath, The Bar at No. 15 has had a thoughtful refresh. We’ve kept every bit of its easy charm but added a layer of new textures and soft lighting that
feels just right for Great Pulteney Street. It’s the ultimate spot to drop in for a few seriously good cocktails. Whether you’re chasing a perfectly mixed
classic, a quiet nightcap, or a celebratory round with the whole crew, a new and improved Bar at No. 15 is oûcially open for business.
Across all Pearly Cows, Steak Night has made quite the entrance. Fire-grilled steak, fries and greens from £18, served midweek and already a firm
favourite. Simple, generous, and exactly what you want when the craving strikes. You can find out all the details on pages 31-32.
We’ve also had a rather proud moment in York, where No. 1 York by GuestHouse was crowned Best Large Hotel of the Year at the Visit York Tourism
Awards 2026.
And, quietly working away in the background (though not so quietly once you’ve joined), GuestBest continues to evolve. Our book-direct membership
still brings you those thoughtful little extras: up to 10% oû your stay, 20% oû spa treatments, and a leisurely noon checkout. Plus, the more often you
stay, the more rewarding your GuestBest membership becomes. A little thank you, from us to you.
In need of a slow down? Our spas remain just the place to do it. Tucked-away sanctuaries designed for switching oû, softening the edges, and
emerging a little lighter than when you arrived. If you’ve not tried one yet, consider this your encouragement to get some me-time in the diary.
Wherever you find us - city streets or salty shores - there’s always something new to discover, and a familiar welcome waiting.
Go on, have a flick through…
