Hello - we’re GuestHouse: a family-owned collection of one-of-a-kind
hotels that make you smile, lift your spirits and feel properly at home.
We’ve planted ourselves in some of Britain’s most beloved towns and cities,
each hotel a little love letter to its place.
If you already know us, welcome back. If not, here’s the short story: we began with city houses. In 2021 we opened No. 15 Bath - stately, honeyed
stone on Great Pulteney Street, all quiet elegance and perfectly placed detail. Then came No. 1 York: a regency townhouse with towering sash
windows, sky-high ceilings and a staircase that demands a dramatic entrance, its walls softened by climbing Virginia creeper.
After the cities came the sea. Summer 2023 brought No. 42 Margate, pitched opposite the tides and wide golden sands - plush rooms, bold
details and horizon-stealing views. Our newest sibling, No. 124 Brighton, opened in November 2024 and serves up nostalgic glamour with a side
of rock’n’roll.
Every GuestHouse has its own story, woven from local character and designed for spontaneous getaways, restorative spa weekends, seaside
nostalgia or a brilliant time with friends (dogs absolutely welcome). Inside you’ll discover mood-lifting spas, cosy bars and, in some, our
signature restaurant Pearly Cow - where land meets sea, flame meets frost, and indulgence is a very good idea.
Small comforts matter: every room has a record player and a stack of vinyls for soundtracking your stay, and our complimentary help-yourself
pantries are always ready for a late night nibble - no side-eye, ever.
