Week 1 | Monday, 20th – Sunday, 26th July
Bath on the Beach
Running from 11th June to 2nd August, Royal Victoria Park transforms into
a beach-themed venue, oûering a large outdoor beer garden, games, and
summer cocktails. Perfect for watching the World Cup or soaking up some
sun in the city.
Summer Series at Dreamland, Margate
Alex James’ Britpop Classical celebrates the best of the genre, with special
guests on Friday, 24th July. The next day, OMD play a selection of summer
hits on Saturday, 25th.
On The Beach, Brighton
Brighton’s premier seafront concert series transforms the shoreline into a
major live music venue. Headlined by Big Beach Boutique 7, the festival
features world-class artists and a vibrant atmosphere by the sea.
Week 2 | Monday, 27th July – Sunday, 2nd August
Brighton & Hove Pride
From 1st to 2nd August, Brighton will host its annual LGBTQ+ Pride event,
renowned as one of the UK’s most popular Pride festivals. This year’s
headliners are Raye and Diana Ross.
Valley Fest, Bath
From 31st July to 2nd August, Valley Fest oûers a laid-back mix of live
music, great food, family activities, and countryside views. It’s a perfect
summer escape, combining festival fun with city comfort.
York Castle Museum’s Victorian Summer Spectacle
Step back in time at York Castle Museum’s Victorian Summer Spectacle.
Enjoy Victorian gala-inspired décor with bunting, floral displays, live music,
and family crafts on the cobblestones. It’s a charming, immersive history
escape that’s more immersive than a standard museum visit.
Week 3 | Monday, 3rd – Sunday, 9th August
York Georgian Festival
A citywide celebration of York’s Georgian era, featuring heritage-themed
events, talks, tours, performances and period flair across historic venues,
inviting visitors to explore culture and history.
Margate Pride
Taking place on 8th August, Margate Pride is a vibrant celebration of
the LGBTQ+ community, featuring a parade, live performances, art
installations and parties throughout the town, including at No. 42!
The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain’s Summer Concert
The concert at Bath Forum showcases elite young musicians
performing an energetic brass programme, oûering an uplifting
evening for music lovers and visitors.
Week 4 | Monday, 10th – Sunday, 16th August
Wicked: For Good ‘Sing-a-long’ - Cliftonville Outdoor Cinema, Margate
Come together to laugh, cry, eat popcorn, and enjoy the unique atmosphere
of an outdoor movie experience at The Oval Bandstand & Lawns.
Glenn Brown in Bath: Arrows of Desire at The Holburne Museum
An exhibition of paintings by Glenn Brown, who studied at the Bath School of
Art and Design and is one of the most celebrated painters to emerge from the
generation of Young British Artists.
Summer Organ Recitals at York Minster
York Minster’s popular organ recitals return this summer with six acclaimed
musicians taking centre stage in one of the world’s most magnificent
cathedrals. 16th, 23rd and 30th July | 6th, 13th and 20th August.
